Exciting times for 1st Crowthorne as we are just starting on an ambitious program to build a NEW HQ.
Just imagine, doubling the size of our current building, 2 halls, a big new kitchen, meeting space, better heating and much more
Its a BIG job, and it will take a few years for us to raise the funds – we estimate a cost of around £400,000 to build a new hut and equip it. Then we will renovate our existing hut with a new roof, better insulation, better heating and improved facilities
An HQ with extensive Community potential, an HQ with potential to provide a home for Girl Guides in Crowthorne as well. Designed with plenty of brand new space for the School to use when they need extra day-time space
In addition to raising money we have a few roles that we need to fill
- Legal Expertise – we need to finalise our new lease
- Project Management – this is a BIG Project and we need help
- “The Team” – a smaller group of people who can come together to drive the program getting input from all sections, parents and the community
- Fundraising – we need to bring onboard Professional Fundraisers to help us hit out target – and we need someone to manage that process as well
